When Vardah returned as 2.0 of Dec'15 floods the site was least affected. Appreciate and thank Phoenix Serene Team for their extended support and gratitude to address all snags last year and deployng team for supporting residents on the cyclone day. There were no major damages to the property and no water logging. With delay in restoration of EB lines and Shortage of diesel supplies team ensured back up power was available most of the time.
While other residential projects on the OMR have been flooded, we had a very pleasant experience. Infrastructure like roads, lighting, backup power and drainage systems have been remarkable. Housekeeping services were available to us even during the storm without interruption.
When the entire city of Chennai faced a difficult period due to incessant rains, flooding and power cuts we were safe and comfortable. The areas surrounding ‘The Village' were flooded with rainwater but not our campus. We had adequate power back up too!
The Village suffered no inundation or any other functional deficiencies during the floods. The project area is at the required elevated position above sea level. We thank the project developers for careful planning right from selection of site to implementation of effective infrastructure.
